Yes a big blue marlin can bend a rod over double and strip the line off a reel in a blink but so can a bluefin tuna or big yellowfin tuna. Virginia striper fishing season opens up in late fall and continues into the winter months and the striper aka rockfish become the target catch for just about all of the Va Beach charter boats.
